Psychedelic drug use 'does not increase risk for mental health problems'

Previously, the researchers behind the study - from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in urban center - had conducted a population study investigation associations between mental state and psychedelic use. Despite this, Johansen believes that the findings of the study ar} sturdy enough to draw the conclusion that prohibition of psychedelic medication can't be even as a public health measure.

Krebs says:

    "Concerns are raised that the ban on use of psychedelics could be a violation of the human rights to belief and non secular follow, full development of the temperament, and free-time and play."

Commenting on the analysis in an exceedingly piece for the journal Nature, Charles Grob, a medical specialty medical specialist at the University of California-Los Angeles, says the study "assures United States of America that there have been not widespread 'acid casualties' within the Nineteen Sixties." However, he urges caution once deciphering the results, as individual cases of adverse effects will and do occur as a consequence of psychedelic use.
